Vote for Your Top Japan Travel Destination for 2020
Have your say to help us decide the top 10 travel destinations in Japan for next year.
VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED. Thank you for your participation! Watch this space for the final list to be published in early December.
Since 2016, each year at GaijinPot Travel we’ve compiled a list of the best places to visit in Japan for the upcoming year. Previously, destinations have been chosen based on Japan travel trends, as well as what local governments, business owners and communities were doing to attract international visitors.
Our list for 2019 included everything from remote mountain hamlets home to self-mummified monks, to a brand new long-distance hike along the tsunami-hit Tohoku coastline. Ultimately, it was Tottori that took the No.1 spot for our top destination to visit in Japan this year.
With the Tokyo 2020 Olympics coming up next year, we’d like to put it out to you, our readers, to vote for the top Japan travel destinations this time around. We’ve put together a list of 16 nominees. Cast your vote using the arrows (you can upvote all 10 places that you’d like to see on the list) to help us whittle it down.
We’ll publish the final list in December. Watch this space!
